Jordan Galland is the co-writer behind some of the songs on Daniel Merriweather’s new album, Love & War, including his hit “Cigarettes.” Jordan Galland is, of course, working on some material of his own. This song is just a taste of what he’s bringing to the table on Airbrush. Let me know what you think. I’m finding this very easy on the ears! Summery pop, reminiscent of a seaside vacation, maybe that trip I’ve dreamed of off the coast of France somewhere, “They Always Come Back” is perfect. It’s got tingly piano keys and a soft brush on the drum and you just imagine bare shoulders and bronzed skin. (Nevermind that it’s soundtrack for a Vampire movie, see below.)
