The lovely Amanda Zelina, contacted me with this gorgeous song and I can’t stop listening to it! Simplicity and charm set to music and overlapped with her sultry voice, I tell you, I’m smitten.
Obsessed from her new album, Love Me till I’m Me Again …. go to her MySpace page for details
And since I’m in the mood for sad songs tonight… I’ve been meaning to dig back into the back catalog of Tresspassers William to give you some idea of how this new song, Sparrow from their latest, The Natural Order of Things fits into their wonderful legacy. Alas, I have been swamped and didn’t get a chance to do as planned. But I wanted you to hear what they’ve been up to nonetheless. …. buy The Natural Order of Things

And well… one more that’s been going round and round in my head lately. I’m not so sure why this song, Mona Lisas and Madhatters is so sad. I mean aside from the obvious lyrics – social alienation, melancholy, perhaps the uncertainty of what the lyrics even mean (?) – the way the Indigo Girls sing this is just so heartbreaking. …. buy Rarities (there’s also a new IG album out, Posiedon and the Bitter Bug, review forthcoming!)

Yay, finally I can whisper in your ear!
Anyways, firstly, Amanda Zelina is GORGEOUS! Seriously, so beautiful. Secondly, great work on bigging up Trespassers William. The new EP is fabulous and deserves to be heard by as many people as possible. I would recommend their last album ‘Having’ from their back catalogue. e xo
